RACT Hobart, Tasmania

The Fagerhult Multifive Basic Beta was chosen for this project based on its superior light control and distribution, whilst also providing effective shielding to the high output (HO) T5 lamps.

This 4.5 star NABERS rated project near Hobart's CBD serves to illustrate the effective partnerships between Eagle Lighting Australia and its distributors, in this case, Southern Lighting and Distribution.

Southern Lighting met the brief set by engineers SEMF, to provide an energy-efficient, low glare lighting solution that effectively lit the working plane from a recessed position high in the ceiling void.
Because a large amount of glass was used on the upper floor, particular consideration was given to the fittings luminance control.

The Fagerhult Multifive Basic Beta was chosen for this project based on its superior light control and distribution, whilst also providing effective shielding to the high output (HO) T5 lamps.

The end result of this project fulfilled the performance requirements on the working plane as well as delivering a glare free environment to the occupants. The added diffused brightness emitted from Fagerhult’s R5 Beta louvre also helped create a bright impression for the ceiling that enhances the feeling of size and brightness within the space.
